Death is everywhere. In an exhale, a sunset, dancing with the fallen leaves.

And yet we don’t talk about it, we’ve pushed it to the margins.

The offerings below seek to bring death and grief back into community.

Death Café

A death café is an open and respectful space to talk about death. You can find the origin story here.

It is not a grief support group or a lecture, just an open and compassionate discussion about how to live our finite lives to the fullest. 

I facilitate monthly death cafés at the Brooklyn Public Library, Central Branch.
